Prime Bulgarian television bTV supported again the LIFE+ Project “Save the Raptors”. The television that adopted one of the juvenile Imperial Eagles with satellite transmitters now started broadcasting of a charity TV spot. The video was created by the media team and call on the protection of the Imperial Eagle and the Bulgarian nature.

This question asked themselves most often the participants in both 7-days study trips to Norway, organized by the Bulgarian Biodiversity Foundation.
Yes, there is, because the love in nature is not related with the standard of living and does not depend on how much money you get. However, depends on that, in what you educate the people of all ages and how you encourage them to keep active and to have healthier life.

Sofia, 14 July 2010 – The coalition of NGOs and civil society groups “For the Nature” sent a position on the bill for a new Law on forests made available for public discussion on the webpage of the Executive Forest Agency on 9 July 2010.
Despite the fact that some of the previous proposals of the NGO coalition have been adopted, a number of dangerous ideas that threaten the Bulgarian protected natural areas have also sneaked into the text.

Sofia, 12 July 2010 – Volunteers from the coalition of 30 non-governmental organizations and civil society groups “For the Nature” ascertained today that the illegal expansion of the cutting area of an already-existing lift from Bunderishka Poliana to Kolarski Put in the Bansko ski zone in National Park Pirin had already started. With a decision from 24 June 2010, the Ministry of Environment and Water (MEW) permitted the substitution of the lift with a new one with three times the capacity of the old lift without the mandatory environmental impact assessment (EIA) and without an assessment of compatibility with the European environmental network NATURA 2000, a part of which is Pirin.
