Clear cuttings in Panichishte near the border with National Park Rila

On 30 minutes walking distance after Pionerska hovel, at the road fork for the new Rilski ezera hovel and the old Sedemte Rilski Ezera hovel was noticed a 30 meters long cutting of age-old trees. The woodcutters said they were making anti-fire cuttings. This is the moment to mention that the investor Rila Sport JSC and the municipal authorities of Sapaerva Banya have mentioned many times that for the ski slopes of the new resort will be used only anti-fire cuttings and age-old trees will not be cut. Thus, the current situation means noting else but the fact that "anti-fire" cuttings are made to leave place for ski slopes and machinery. According to workers from the forestry service, there is another cutting above Giundera, i.e. the cuttings are two.
