Plovdiv - Protest against GMO release in Bulgaria - 11.02.2010
In Plovdiv the protesting citizens were around 60 people. There were mummer's bells. The protest was one of the most melodious and dynamic ones held recently in Plovdiv. The position of Plovdiv citizens is unconditional – “Bulgaria – GMO free”. The demonstration was organized for less than 2 days by mothers from Plovdiv and ”Green Balkans” Society.
On Sunday concerned citizens will continue to give out information stuff in the main street from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. The meeting point is at “Djumayata”. Volunteers wanted!
