Your browser may not support display of this image. in front of the Council of Ministers held by representatives of “Citizens for Rila” was carried out under the slogan of the climate conference in Copenhagen as well as the motto “Is there any place for new ski resorts in Bulgaria in conflict with nature, in snow deficiency and warming climate”. With transparents, ski, sticks, no snow in the cold morning 15 people demonstrated that the deforestation through felling in Rila and elsewhere impact directly the warming of the atmosphere for which some day the Bulgarian resorts will be left “on the wrong side of the door”.

Today in Copenhagen a big demonstration is forthcoming under the slogan “Reclaim Power”. It is expected that the demonstration will be joined also by representatives of the official delegations of some Latin American and African states.
