When, for example, the trees on one mountain's slopes are cut down, the ecological equilibrium of the whole mountain is disturbed. The results are: the erosion destroys the soil, water sources dry up, rainfall decreases, climate changes, as well as the animal and vegetable kingdoms.
The trees appear to be purifyng stations of the drinking water. They are the lung of Bulgaria and of the whole planet. They are homes for a great number of animals Woodlands preserve from floods, soften the clime, reduce the noise and the dust, as well as the greenhouse gases. Besides - "Lovely you are, woodland of mine!".
