WHAT ARE THE CONSEQUENCES FROM OVERBUILGING AT THE BLACK SEA COAST?

The building of huge and various-style hotels, which we witness in the last several years, is not only an exhibition of bad taste, but improvidence too. This is the result from the combination of not abiding the laws, desire for quick profit, money laundering, lack of information and negligence for the environment. The consequence is: the local population is deprived from cultivating its own land and from the opportunity to develop eco tourism, for it will be encouraged and financially supported by the European Union; turning the Black Sea region into a resort with restricted access for the population; destruction of the nature in Bulgaria and preventing the country from establishing itself as one of the most desired tourist destinations - an opportunity, derived from the preserved nature of the country versus the lost nature in most of the "developed" countries.
