Membership

You are part of a non-governmental organization, a company, a tourist club, a students, sports or other club, or you are simply a group of socially conscious friends and would like to join the ForTheNature coalition? Here’s how…

The members are people and organizations that want to participate and are able to devote more time to the idea-generating process and the overall organization and coordination of the ForTheNature campaign, as well as to the decision-making process in the Coalition.

The responsibilities of members: they participate in a non-public mailing list which they have to follow daily, organize and take part in Coalition meetings where they take upon themselves different tasks which they subsequently follow up with, the name of their organization is undersigned on all documents, standpoints, signals, press releases that are published on behalf of the Coalition; they act according to the rules of procedure of the Coalition which they need to have accepted beforehand.

Procedure for becoming a member: You need to file a written request and motivation letter to contact{at}forthenature.org and to sign the rules of procedure of the Coalition. The new members are accepted by the old ones following the rules of procedure of the Coalition.

The friends of the Coalition are all people, organizations, and institutions that share the nature protection cause and help as they deem fit, but cannot participate in daily correspondence, working meetings and more expert-level work. It is important for us to help everyone become involved in their most logical and natural way. We are willing to support everyone by announcing their help on our website.

Attention: for the time being members of the Coalition can be only non-governmental and citizens’ structures. Businesses have the opportunity to help the campaign as a legal entity or individually through their employees and to be listed as one of the “friends” of the Coalition. Should there be any information that certain people and organizations participate in activities that damage the environment or are a conflict of interests, these entities are not allowed neither as members, nor as friends of the Coalition.

The Coalition is non-formal and is not legally registered. It is more important for us to work together, strive to coordinate our joint work better and be united. The Coalition started off inspired by the nature protection idea, but now encompasses a much wider range of problems: health protection, legislation, sustainable tourism, corruption, administrative capacity and institutional work, volunteerism, social responsibility…
